Later that same year, U.S. Nonwovens acquired Soluble Packaging Solutions, which is North America’s largest independent manufacturer of unit dose packaging for dish, laundry, and other categories.

Background:

The Maintenance Mechanic proactively maintains production equipment and facilities for maximum availability. Responds to unscheduled downtime calls as required and makes required repairs to provide maximum availability. Works on trials and special projects, including capital projects as requested. Assists/mentors operators to increase effectiveness and uptime. Always works safely in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Uses hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and

manufacturer’s specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.

• Maintains machines proactively to support plant / department goals for productivity, waste, quality, and safety.

• Assures guarding, facilities and equipment are in good working order.

• Sets up and operates machine and performs necessary duties to meet manufacturing and quality targets at a minimum after repairs are completed.

• Detects, records and reports defective equipment to the Maintenance Manager/Shift Supervisor.

• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per instruction.

• May provide support by running production machines as necessary to ensure continuous operation and meet production schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, accreditation from a technical/vocational training or an applicable skilled trades program or 4 to 6 years of relevant working experience.

• Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine maintenance work functions.

• Experience with automated production equipment preferred

• Experience in a Consumer Products environment preferred

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work under stress.

• Sound understanding of using all electrical testing and repair equipment.

• Excellent knowledge regarding machines, spare parts, operations and maintenance.

• Adheres to all established SOPs, LOTO procedures, and company safety and compliance

Physical Demands:

Background:

The Cleaning & Sanitization Technician is responsible for performing cleaning and sanitization of

manufacturing equipment, tools, and production areas. This includes the safe and effective use of

cleaning solutions, detergents, and steam systems in accordance with company procedures, safety

standards, and regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, OSHA, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Learn the validated and current cleaning and sanitization processes at Radienz Living.
Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment (i.e. conveyors etc.) following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Use cleaning solutions, sanitizing agents, and steam safely and effectively.
Perform clean-in-place (CIP) and clean-out-of-place (COP) processes as required.
Complete and maintain accurate sanitization logs, checklists, and cleaning records.
Follow all safety guidelines for handling cleaning agents, including wearing required PPE (gloves, goggles, aprons, face shields, etc.).
Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or sanitization issues to supervisors promptly.
Support continuous improvement of cleaning and sanitization processes.
Maintain a clean and organized sanitization supply area.
May be required to perform other related duties on a temporary or infrequent basis to support business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma or general degree (GED)equivalent preferred.
Prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.
Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment.
Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Background:

The Lab Technician/Lab Assistant supports the daily operations of the Microbiology Laboratory by preparing samples and materials for testing in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This includes completing and organizing all required documentation, logging samples into laboratory records and systems, and preparing media, solutions, and other testing materials. The role is also responsible for monitoring and recording equipment temperatures, cleaning and maintaining laboratory instruments according to schedules and SOPs, and ensuring the lab environment remains clean, safe, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Record temperatures for incubators, refrigerators, and water baths.

• Operate autoclaves and perform control procedures, including biological indicator checks and temperature verification

• Conduct daily calibration of laboratory instruments such as balances and pH meters.

• Collect water, swab, and environmental air samples for microbiological testing.

• Read ampoules in the dry bath and accurately document results.

• Log all samples into the microbiology sample logbook and complete required documentation for each test.

• Prepare bottles, tubes, and plates for Microbial Limits Testing (MLT) and other microbiological analyses.

• Prepare and adjust the pH of media required for laboratory testing.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, including washing and sterilizing glassware and equipment.

• Run autoclave cycles for biohazard waste, media preparation, and sterilization of filters.

• Monitor and maintain laboratory supply inventory; ensure necessary materials are available and restock as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline preferred.

• 0-1 year of experience in a microbiology or quality control laboratory within a manufacturing or regulated environment preferred.

• Familiarity with aseptic techniques, autoclave operation, and environmental monitoring procedures.

• Ability to accurately perform and document routine laboratory tests and calibrations.

• Strong attention to detail and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

• Basic computer skills and experience with data entry or laboratory information systems.

•    Capacity to use a hand jack to move liquid totes to the machine.

•    Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.

Material Handler 1st Shift

Background:

As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate assigned packaging machines to pre-established line run speed. They will ensure to pack the optimum number of quality packages of product; Check that products are dated and sealed in accordance with all safety, SOPs and cGMP guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Set-up and manage machines to perform at the desired, pre-established specifications.
Ensure machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
Provides direction to other line members and ensures smooth operation.
Responsible for completing Packaging Filling Records.
Visually inspect labels for defects and run samples.
Record all machine actions by completing production logs.
Produce High Quality finished goods (At All Times)
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Escalates quality, service, and equipment performance issues to supervision.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor which may become necessary to support departmental/organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

High School degree or GED, desired.

Production Inspector – 1st Shift

Background:

Under the direction of the Supervisor/Plant Manager, the Production Inspector is responsible for ensuring products are being produced in a manner that meets all cGMP and Product Specification criteria. This position will support production as their primary responsibility but will assist the Quality dept., when necessary (i.e., absent personnel).

Primary Responsibilities

Production:

· Constructs, packages, tapes, and labels, products compliant with written procedures.

· Inspects packages for defects. Works as a team to help co-workers when necessary.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify packaging defects or discrepancies.

· Contributes to a continuous improvement culture.

· Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety guidelines.

· Attends company scheduled meetings when applicable (i.e., safety meetings, production meetings, department meetings.)

· Informs direct supervision of any problems or complications that may arise

· Maintains a clean and orderly environment free of hazards.

Quality

· Conducts approval of pre-start-up activities including line/room clearance, and initial equipment checks.

· Consistently reviews in-process batch documentation to ensure real-time compliance to product specifications, good documentation practices, company SOP’s and cGMP’s.

· Discusses errors and reviews production logbooks for accuracy and compliance.

· Collects data and supports release of batch records.

· Conduct regular quality line audits of in-process and finished goods against pre-defined characteristics to validate that all process and product requirements have been satisfied.

· Document audit results on the appropriate QA paperwork making notes about out-of-spec conditions found or other observations of interest.

· Perform Leak test on in-process material to ensure that product meets intended performance requirements.

· Perform Lot Code validations.

· Monitor the performance of metal detection equipment, as applicable.

· Investigate production related QA problems and make recommendations.

· Visual verification of raw material and packaging material to validate material is in spec to artwork and functionality requirements and is used for its intended purpose on the correct product.

· Execute the plant non-conforming materials procedure when out-of-specification conditions are observed.

Qualifications:

· High school degree or GED, preferred.

· Must be able to keep up with the line speed of machinery.

· Must be able to communicate, respond to verbal and written instructions in English.

· Flexibility in work schedule to support production schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, and/or working overtime during high demand.

· Prior working knowledge in a CPG, manufacturing, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry, preferred.

· Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and adherence to defined procedures, company policies, safety rules and SOPs.

· Ability to work in various weather/temperature conditions to include heat, humidity and cold.

· Understanding of basic measurement concepts, such as length, width, height, weight.

· Ability to effectively troubleshoot problems and recognize when to escalate issues to manager.

· Support departmental and organizational goals and objectives.

· The manager may require an employee to perform ‘other duties as assigned’ on a temporary and infrequent basis.

· Must work well with others.
