Background: 

As a Roll Attendant, you will set up and operate assigned packaging machines to pre-established specifications. He/She will ensure they pack the optimum number of quality packages of product, in accordance with all safety, SOPs and cGMP guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities:

•    Set-up and manage machines to perform at the desired, pre-established requirements.

•    Ensure machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.

•    Ability to hoist roll of nonwovens on to machine.

•    Troubleshoot equipment and remove jams when necessary.

•    Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.

•    Capacity to use a hand jack to move liquid totes to the machine.

•    Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.

•    Produce High Quality finished goods (At All Times)

•    Maintain a clean and safe work area.

•    Perform all other duties as assigned which may become necessary to support departmental/organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

•    High School degree or GED, desired.

•    Basic math and command of English reading and writing.

•    Prior working knowledge in a manufacturing, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry, preferred.

•    Must be able to safely operate the machine for the intended purpose.

•    Must be able to keep up with the line speed of machinery.

•    Ability to lift repetitively, and meet volume demand etc.

•    Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends and/or working overtime during high demand.

Background: 

Under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring products are being produced in a manner that meets all cGMP and Product Specification criteria.  The Quality Technician provides real time review of in-process test data and batch documentation to limit the need for later review or rework.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts approval of pre-start-up activities including line/room clearance, and initial equipment checks.
  • Consistently reviews in-process batch documentation to ensure real-time compliance to product specifications, good documentation practices, company SOP’s and cGMP’s.
  • Discusses errors and reviews production logbooks for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collects data and supports release of batch records.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains exceptional work attendance.
  • Responsible for conducting duties in compliance with safety rules, applicable SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
  • Conduct regular quality line audits of in-process and finished goods against pre-defined characteristics to validate that all process and product requirements have been satisfied.
  • Document audit results on the appropriate QA paperwork making notes about out-of-spec conditions found or other observations of interest.
  • Perform Leak test on in-process material to ensure that product meets intended performance requirements.
  • Perform Lot Code validations.

Background: 

As a Chemical Compounder at Radienz Living, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process

by handling chemicals, chemical substances, and operating specialized machinery to process and

produce chemical-based products. This role involves liquid blending, including  loading and unloading materials

safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately weigh and measure raw materials, ingredients, or finished products to ensure they meet specified requirements and production standards.
  • Add and blend chemicals or ingredients into processing batches using appropriate hand tools or equipment, following precise formulation guidelines.
  • Initiate mixing or blending equipment to combine ingredients, ensuring operation continues for designated time intervals as outlined in production protocols.
  • Operate and monitor mixing or blending machinery to process a diverse range of materials, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to production standards.
  • Shut down mixing or blending equipment once desired product specifications are achieved, then activate pumps and open valves to transfer finished mixtures to the next processing stage.
  • Gather material or product samples for laboratory analysis to verify quality, consistency, and compliance with established specifications.

Background:

The Maintenance Mechanic proactively maintains production equipment and facilities for maximum availability. Responds to unscheduled downtime calls as required and makes required repairs to provide maximum availability. Works on trials and special projects, including capital projects as requested. Assists/mentors operators to increase effectiveness and uptime. Always works safely in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Uses hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and

manufacturer’s specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.

• Maintains machines proactively to support plant / department goals for productivity, waste, quality, and safety.

This position is a working supervisor that oversees daily QC inspections and in-process testing.
Implementation of Quality In-Process Inspection (QAPI) programs in accordance with ISO and GMP guidelines.

Manages quality workload and work of technicians across 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Supervise QC Technicians and ensure training for the team is updated.

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor’s degree with a background or at least 5 years’ experience in QA/QC.
Required Experience: 
Five+ (5) years’ experience in quality assurance/quality control in pharmaceutical, food, medical device or manufacturing of detergent industry preferred.

Knowledge of GMP, ISO and related guidance documents.

Load finished goods onto pallets according to product specifications

Background:

The Quality Incoming Inspector works in manufacturing environments where the incoming materials are inspected when received. The Incoming Inspector reports to the Quality Control Supervisor. The location of incoming inspections can be in both Mount Prospect and Glenview warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting purchased parts and materials, identifying defects, approving, or rejecting items, testing material composition, checking if products conform to standards, and reporting to Quality management.
  • This position oversees daily incoming materials to ensure materials conform to product specifications.
  • Performs incoming material audits, to assure all products and materials meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications.

Chemical Compounder – Lead

Shift: 2pm-10pm

Background:

As a Chemical Compounder lead, you will perform and lead all functions within the compounding department related to the manufacturing of bulk liquid products with applicable standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities:

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the mixing and compounding of chemicals following established formulas and procedures.
  • Lead and train a team of compounders, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct material management duties including inventory monitoring and raw material ordering.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Execute quality control tests and adjust batch formulas as necessary.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance teams for product quality improvement and new compound development.
  • Document processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor blending operation periodically and report any abnormal conditions to the SHIFT supervisor
  • Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and adherence to defined procedures, safety rules and SOPs.
  • Always Produce High Quality finished goods
  • Perform all other duties as assigned which may become necessary to support departmental/organizational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Fully shaved facial hair is the standard for our position in blending
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Experience as a chemical compounder or similar role.
  • High school degree or GED, desired.
  • Must be able to safely operate the machine for the intended purpose.
  • Must be able to lift at times, able to meet yields, volume etc.
  • Flexibility in work schedule
  • Prior working knowledge in a CPG, manufacturing, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry, preferred.
  • Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adherence to defined procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and loud production environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
  • Attention to details.
  • Steel toed boots required.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processes and compounding machinery.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the chemical industry.
  • Effective communication skills and collaborative work style.

Pay: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour
